Unfortunately i have had to cancel the linoprinting course due to lack of interest. But i will be doing my usual shorter workshops in the future, as those seem to be more popular.
All the best, Eloise x

🌻Plan a creative retreat for yourself and discover the art of Linoprinting in this 2 full day course at The Pines Calyx, a beautiful costal venue surrounded by large gardens.
In a relaxed and comprehensive approach to this traditional printing technique you will learn how to sketch out your own unique designs, carve them into hessian-backed linoleum blocks (the most eco-friendly option available), and print as many as you wish on a variety of quality paper, using water based ink.
You will even create a multi-layer linoprints in the second class, building on your skills..
The full day format of this course will allow you more time to create more detailed pieces than our typical shorter workshops. You might even create several if you choose a simple image.
The class numbers are intentionally small for an intimate setting and ensures you get all the guidance and support you need to create prints you can be proud of (that is not to say that mistakes aren’t a part of the learning process 😉).
Every stage of lino printing is satisfying and stimulating in different ways, and the distinctive and bold prints it produces are very visually pleasing. This very well might become the start of a new obsession!
The course runs on the 10th and 17th of May, from 10am to 4pm (including a lunch break)
£150 per person, all materials and refreshments included.
Location: The Pines Calyx, Beach Rd, St Margarets Bay, Dover CT15 6DZ
Customised Gift cards are available on demand if you want to gift this experience to someone.🎁
🦽Free parking available on site and venue is fully accessible. If you have any questions please get in touch at [email protected].

🌿I’ve never properly introduced myself on this page, so here we are:
Hello, My name is Eloise.
I live in Dover and love baking, hiking and watching the seasons change in the beautiful countryside surrounding this corner of the world.
🌸After graduating in Illustration in 2023, I volunteered and worked with incredible local arts organisations. This cemented my love for teaching art and gave me the confidence to try and create my dream job.
So Ecocreatives was born, blending my passion for art, Nature and sustainability into one. I ran my first workshop in August 2024.
It hasn’t at all been easy.
Many days I feel overwhelmed by all the different roles i need to perform as a solo business owner, and frustrated by my slow growth (and my own limitations).
But when I look back at the past two years, and think of my wonderful regulars who come to my workshops again and again, I feel so grateful, and ready to continue pushing.
So thank you to every single one of you who has come to my workshops and courses! Art really has the power to bring people together, and I look forward to working with more amazing people, organisations and eventually make this my full time job!
Lots of love, Eloise x🌼🌿

does anyone know if there are any local businesses that offer sustainable signage, specifically printing on wood.
Thank you in advance!

✨Take a look at this year’s Natural Christmas Wreath workshops at the beautiful venue near St-Margaret’s Bay. 🎄
In every session, participants wove their wreath base using willow branches, and attached beautiful foliage and berries with twine, making this wreath fully biodegradable (just take off the bow to reuse next year😉). Everyone’s wreath is so unique, some more traditionally decorated with orange slices, bright berries and a bow, and others gave theirs a more wild look with some old man’s beard, pine cones and joyful wisps of ivy.
Thanks everyone for coming, and enjoy your beautiful wreaths xx
