This years festive wreath workshops are now available for booking!
🌲🌟 Get into the festive spirit with a sustainable Christmas wreath workshop at the Pines Calyx, a beautiful venue surrounded by a permaculture garden and Pinetum, located near st Margarets Bay.

Learn how to make a traditional and long lasting festive wreath using a variety of lush foliage, colourful berries and dried citrus. You will also be weaving a wreath base with willow branches, making the wreath fully biodegradable once the Christmas period is over!

Dates available: 21rst of November, morning session from 10am to 1pm and an afternoon session from 2.30pm to 5.30pm
28th of November, afternoon session from 2.30pm to 5.30pm
29th of November, morning session from 10am to 1pm and an afternoon session from 2.30pm to 5.30pm

You will have plenty of guidance to make sure your wreath comes out perfectly. Hot beverages and festive baked goods are also included to complete the cosy atmosphere.

Discover or delve deeper into the art of watercolour painting in this 6 week course suitable for all levels.
In a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, you will learn all the fundamental watercolour techniques and put them to practise in six varied sessions, where you will explore different subjects inspired by nature.

The classes will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Starting on the 22nd of sept and ending on the 27th of October 2026.
All materials will be provided, as well as refreshments. £240 per person

🌸🌿On the 24th of June, I will be running a full day Botanical watercolour workshop for Goodnestone Gardens.

We will be creating delicate watercolour studies of the beautiful flowers and plants populating the historic gardens once regularly enjoyed by Jane Austen.
Both beginners and more experienced artist will enjoy a day spent painting in the sunshine, taking a moment for themselves whilst improving their creative skills.

This full day experience includes an exclusive tour of the stunning walled garden at Goodnestone plus refreshments, garden entry, and a delicious lunch made from locally sourced ingredients, at the Old Dairy Café.

The workshop will run from 10am to 4 pm, including a lunch break.

Unfortunately i have had to cancel the linoprinting course due to lack of interest. But i will be doing my usual shorter workshops in the future, as those seem to be more popular.
