Starting as old Iris catalogues this material inspired a wave of pieces culminating in Flower Moon.
I still have pieces I haven’t finished!

When I posted about it back then, I spoke about my process and how makes me feel.
And it had been my first , which is a fond memory.

I spent hours cutting and arranging, I haven’t done that in quite a while.

It’s been a week since #doveratnight2026, wasn’t it fun!? Thankful to @maisondieudover and @dover.artswork / @_artswork_ 5000 visitors across 14 venues including my other workspace @doversmartproject 💕 Tag #doveratnight to share photos of any of the take home creations… I’d love to see. & best of all we fixed Dovers Time Machine 🕰️ kids and inner kids together 🤝 It was so lovely to see so many of all ages engage in a Dover town centre event, the first of many this year, hopefully. Impact festival in Pencester tomorrow!

Why This Matters…

This intergenerational project wasn’t about teaching people what to think about politics. It was about exploring different ways of thinking - observing, asking to understand and consider
multiple perspectives while expressing each unique view with courage.
Throughout the workshops, disagreement wasn’t treated as a problem to fix, but as information. Diverse ideas and perspectives make better art - and better communities.
What was hung on the walls wasn’t a single message but a conversation across generations, social circles and viewpoints. Some pieces contradict each other. Some echoed one another. All of them mattered.

An easier question might be where do you feel powerless? as we can’t know one without knowing the other…

A few weeks ago I started a new regular position at and a freelance position Artswork

I’m so grateful to both organisations for seeing value in what I bring to Dovers community through my skills and experience.

Excited to see what beautiful creations we make together and to share some of the journey here 💕
