🌾🍂 A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful school community! 🍂🌾

We are so grateful for the incredibly generous Harvest donations we have received this week. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to families in our local community. 💚

Everything collected will be donated to Christchurch Foodbank Plus on Monday. If you would still like to contribute, there is time to, please drop any donations into the school office by Monday morning.

As we celebrate Harvest, we are reminded:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Psalm 107:1 🙏

Thank you once again for your generosity and for helping us share the spirit of Harvest with others. 🌾❤️

🌾🍂 It’s Harvest Time! 🍂🌾
This week we’re looking forward to celebrating Harvest Festival with our Year 2, 4 and 6 children, who will be heading to church on Thursday. ⛪️💛
As in previous years, we’ll also be supporting our local Foodbank in Christchurch. 🥫❤️
If you’re able to donate a food item, we would be incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity. 🙏✨
📍 Donations can be left outside the school office or by the school gates throughout the week, and we’ll make sure everything is delivered to the Foodbank.
Every donation, big or small, can make a real difference to local families. 💕🥫
Thank you so much for helping us spread a little Harvest kindness! 🌾🍎💛

✨ Ready for a new school year! ✨
What a productive two days we have had!
Our staff have been busy developing their knowledge and understanding across a range of important areas, including the fundamental skills of writing, writing assessment and allergy awareness training. 📚✏️
Alongside our professional development, staff have also been working hard to prepare and set up our classrooms, organise resources and create exciting plans for the weeks ahead. 🏫✨
There has been lots of collaboration, discussion, learning and preparation, all with one thing at the heart of it: giving our children the very best start to the new school year. 💚

We are now feeling refreshed, prepared and incredibly excited to welcome all of our children back tomorrow! We can’t wait to see their smiling faces, hear their stories and get started on another fantastic year of learning together. 🌟
Welcome back, everyone! 💚

As we turn our thoughts to the beginning of a new term and look forward to gathering everyone together once again for assemblies and worship centred on new beginnings, it's lovely to reflect on this long-standing tradition.
These photos from the 1990s capture a familiar scene, the school hall filled with children, the benches lined up, and staff leading assemblies that encouraged reflection, celebrated achievements, and fostered a real sense of belonging.
Some traditions stand the test of time, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting school year! 💚
