We had so much fun when the Brownies came to visit as part of their Brownie holiday. The ponies loved it and every member of the group joined in, grew in confidence and had lots of questions for us! Thanks for coming 🤩

Summer sessions have started! It is super exciting to welcome new friends to the farm, as well as catch up with children and young people who are returning to connect with the ponies and build skills and confidence. You are all so welcome!

Thanks to HETI - Horses in Education and Therapy International today marks the inaugural International EAS Day. We sometimes struggle to explain what EAS is and its various modalities when speaking to people outside the sector so we hope this graphic is useful as a summary. Congratulations to our first group to complete their qualification in Pony Care and Stable Management through our partnership with Thie group have been working together to learn practical skills and knowledge in taking care of ponies including health, diet, stable management, equine behaviour, and anatomy. Well done to you all!

Moving from year 6 to year 7 is a huge milestone. In this workshop we will offer space to share all the big feelings, explore themes like resilience and friendship and consider what we already have in our ‘toolkit’ that will support us to manage the changes.

A new, big field for the ponies to all live together as one herd of 5. This has been my absolute dream all along and it is so exciting! We have carefully managed the transition so they were as familiar as possible with one another to limit the chance of anyone getting injured, but it has still cause some lively interactions! We have been reflecting on how transitions, especially at this time of year for children who are moving classes or even moving school, can be tough for a while. What helps to build resilience around managing change?
