And that's a wrap! My regular English tuition sessions for the 2025-26 academic year are now over! While Dante is taking a well-deserved rest from all the welcoming, treat-chewing and water-drinking, I'll be planning for another busy September as well as tutoring ad hoc sessions throughout the summer. One good thing coming out of this heatwave.... the postponement of year 10 English exams until next week! I thought Portia, Shylock and Scrooge had been put away until next year, but now we have one more week to hone those exam skills!

Emotional week ahead! I'll be saying goodbye to my lovely Year 11 students and their lovely families as they complete their GCSE English Language exam this Friday! Their engagement and progress has been wonderful to see, and I wish them all the success in the world for their future.

With GCSE exam season nearly here, some of my current students will soon be finishing up, which means I’ll have a small number of spaces available from June onwards.
If you’re thinking about extra English support for your child, now is a good time to get in touch and plan ahead for the summer term or next academic year.
I’ll also be increasing my rates for new students from September. Any lessons booked to start this school year (from June) will be at my current rates, so families are very welcome to get organised early.
