Both the Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Racecourse and Hilton Garden Inn at Manchester’s Old Trafford feature our aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling, which together deliver modern façades, strong daylighting and reliable thermal performance.

Two projects, two very different locations but both great examples of how our systems continue to support high‑quality hospitality developments across the UK.

We’re proud to share that Senior Architectural Systems has been awarded the Bronze Award under the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme 🎖️

This follows our recent signing of the Armed Forces Covenant — a commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans, reservists and their families, and recognising the skills and value they bring to our industry.

Strengthening our support for the Armed Forces community is another important milestone for us and we look forward to building on this as we continue to grow our team and partnerships.

Out of 35 years of projects, this one is PURe® perfection 👌

Completed back in 2019, our SF52 aluminium curtain wall, SPW501 commercial doors and patented PURe® aluminium windows were the perfect fit for the new extension to Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire.

A key challenge of the project was to minimise the impact of the new extension on the existing listed building. With all the original windows in the hall sympathetically restored, it was vital that the fenestration package for the new spa building was appropriate in terms of both aesthetics and performance.

Some projects stand out not just for their design, but for their story 🥃

Clydeside Distillery brought a 100‑year‑old pump house back into use, transforming a long‑disused industrial building on Glasgow’s waterfront into a modern distillery and visitor experience.

The glazing package plays a key role in that transformation. Our SF52 curtain wall frames views across the Clyde, while SPW600e windows and doors support the building’s thermal performance without compromising its heritage character.

We’ve completed plenty of education projects throughout our 35 years but this one is a little different ⚽

Everton Free School in Liverpool is one of the first premiership football club affiliated school in the country and certainly scores highly in terms of its energy-efficient design thanks to the use of two of our most thermally-efficient aluminium glazing solutions.

It was all happening in July ☀️

From industry exhibitions and customer visits to fond farewells and warm welcomes, here are just a few of our highlights:

👋 We wished James Keeling‑Heane well as he stepped down from his role as sales director.

🤝 Began a new chapter welcoming Sonny Burrows as our managing director designate.

🥳 Celebrated Luke Osborne promotion to ASSA ABLOY Head of sustainability - commercial group.

🪟We were proud sponsors of the Building Centre’s Art of Transparency exhibition.

☕Luke Osborne and Jon Molton joined Colin O’Toole to host a drop‑in session at Hunters Architects.

🏆 And last but by no means least, we celebrated our wonderful colleague Michelle Robb who has clocked up an impressive 25 years of service!

It’s always a pleasure to revisit some of our completed contracts and when it comes to our work on University Technical Colleges (UTC) it was too hard to pick just one!

Since the very first UTC opened back in 2010, the sector has seen rapid expansion and we are proud to have played a part in creating a number of these educational facilities 🎓

Created to allow 14 to 19 year-olds to combine academic and specialised technical and vocational studies, our aluminium fenestration systems feature on several UTC buildings across the UK including Leeds, Durham, Sheffield, and Scarborough.

Over the last 35 years, we’ve completed many student accommodation schemes but the Courtyard development for the University of Hull holds the record for being one of our biggest contracts in this sector to date! 🥇

We supplied our patented and award-winning PURe® aluminium windows, alongside our slimline SF52 aluminium curtain walling system, for the University’s landmark accommodation scheme which comprises five separate blocks based around two central courtyards.
