🏆 What an incredible achievement!

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate the success of our former student Jack Whaley, who has made golfing history by becoming only the second Englishman since 1911 to win the prestigious US Amateur Championship! 🇬🇧⛳

Jack, who is currently studying at Florida State University, defeated American Jay Leng Jr 4&3 in the final at the iconic Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania.

This fantastic victory earns Jack places in the fields for the 2027 Masters, US Open and The Open at St Andrews — an amazing achievement at just 22 years old.

Jack also becomes an automatic selection for the Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team, adding another huge milestone to an already remarkable year.

Everyone at school is incredibly proud of Jack and it is fantastic to see one of our former students achieving such extraordinary success on the world stage. 🌟

Last Wednesday we welcomed Jules from .wellbeing delivering the to some of our year 9 girls. It was a brilliant morning for the girls to discuss all things movement, health and nutrition.
