September… how can it be!

And how can it continue to be eventful 🙋🏻‍♀️ 🤔

Our lovely Naomi - Deputy Manager went off on her maternity leave and we wish her so well 💛

Sarah … is off for 7 months to live and work in France 🇫🇷 Au revoir et à bientôt 💛

Shannon is back to her studies at University- thankfully we’ll see you soon 💛

We got to grips with all our breakfast club & afterschool drop offs and pick ups …. I needed a spreadsheet 💻 just to keep us right… especially with pre-school settling in timetable!
Glad to have Irene 🚙 on board to keep us moving and ontime! What an asset to our wee team

And finally…. We welcome Vicky Hughes… our new Deputy Manager who, alongside Paige, are a powerhouse of knowledge, experience, warmth and laughs.
Delighted to have you on board Vicky and after only 2 weeks in the saddle (🐴) you’ll be galloping in no time (bit of an inside joke there VH!)

Ok autumn 🍂 we’re here and ready…

National vegetarian 🥑 🥕 🥦 day and vegetables and fruit 🍇 🍌 🍎 were at the top of today’s menu.

Veggie curry packed with sweetcorn, onions, broccoli, red peppers and rice 🍚 🤤
Making nutritious food 🥘 is high in our agenda- especially when it comes to encouraging the children to “try.”

Today’s tuft tray was an opportunity to let the children explore the different textures and types of fruit & veg.
Using child-safe knives they developed their fine motor skills.

And the child-led bit… that was the soup 🍲 at the end of the video… that was all their own doing.

The black eye peas … I’m taking the credit for the multiple layers! Iykyk

Since we posted what we are calling our “Summer Jackson Pollok” we wanted to share our “Autumn Jackson Pollok”

Using nature’s greatest painting tools 🍃 🍂 and the creativity of potentially the most powerful minds on the planet 🌍 alongside materials from “local” Ikea.

We present Autumn 🍂 artwork!

You know what that means!?

Keep 👀 and you’ll see plenty more of our creations ❄️

So… recruitment update

Excitedly, we’ve appointed new teamies and I’ll be sharing details of who they are soon 🐝 🐝

That leaves us with needing one more person- so if you wanna be part of the buzz … we would love to hear from you… if you are the sort of person who has ….

💫been following us on FB and share our approach to a child-led ethos… we wanna hear from you.
💫If you’ve been following us on FB and can help us with even more sensory play… we definitely wanna hear from you.
💫If you’ve been following us on FB and love being outdoors… we absolutely want to hear from you.
💫And if you’ve been following us on FB and know someone who fits in with our ethos… tell them to get in touch.

We are also interested to hear from you if you have been thinking about working and training for your Level 3 childcare qualification too… there are a number of ways this can be done and feel free to start a chat about options.

Full time and Part-time considered.

Email you cv to [email protected]
