We cannot thank you all enough for the support and trust you put in us to take care of your children, it means so much to us to be a part of something so special 💫

📚 We love sharing a good book at MGR, and we will always take the chance to enjoy stories with our friends and grown ups (who give Oscar worthy story telling performances you know) whether we are inside our cozy book corner, outside in our reading den or even the woods!
How lucky are we to have such wonderful opportunities to share, laugh and talk about our favourite stories, turn them into our own plays and see where our imagination takes us 📚

Looking back over the last year and wow didn't we have some adventures???

☀️Bus rides to Dartmouth Library, The Fleet Care Home, the beach, Torcross,
☀️Visited Stokenham church to see our displays for their Christmas tree festival and summer flower festival
☀️Walks to Chillington for bug hunts and litter picks
☀️Hosted a fundraiser for a very special charity
☀️Teddy bear's picnic
☀️Walked to Stokenham Church to watch the school children practice their Harvest and Christmas festivals,
☀️Visited Stokenham Pumpkin patch,
☀️Went on our own Polar express,
☀️Made and delivered Christmas cards to residents of the care home,
☀️Weekly forest school,
☀️Explored, made and sampled foods from around the world,
☀️Pamper days, princess and pirate days, celebrations...

💖 Not included the daily adventures we have, with a wonderful mix of indoor and outdoor child led activities. Our highly dedicated team ensure our little ones access all areas of learning, all through their play and support them every step of the way...

Just because MGR is closed for the Summer, it does not mean we don't hear from our little adventurers and their wonderful families 💖
We have loved hearing what they have been up to so far, and we can share with you one of our families summer adventure in their amazing campervan so far...
First stop visiting Holland, seeing a famous boat called Batavia and visiting an island called Ameland, then moving on to Germany visiting a city called Bremen with a famous statue called The Towns Musicians of Bremen, from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. 📚
Denmark was next, seeing Egerskof Caslte with museums, fire engines, and a maze, then stopping off in Copenhagen, where the Experimentarium museum blew them away. All whilst enjoying lots of biking, beaches, playgrounds, Danish pastries and Salami before setting off to Sweden. 🏰

Do we lock the doors of MGR for 6 whole weeks, not returning until September?? 🤔
Absolutely not, our team have already been busy this summer, getting ready for our new and exciting term ahead. ☀️
They have been enhancing our outdoor provision, harvesting some of our vegetables that have grown so quickly in the past couple of weeks, re organising our indoor areas, planning more adventures and redecorating inside.... all under the close supervision of Winnie the Pooh and Tiger 💖
