Merry Go Round Pre-School

Another day of delicious homemade goodies from MGR's little chefs 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳
Using apples donated by lovely Cathy Kingsbridge superstore community champion, we peeled, chopped, measured, stirred to make our chutney and then when it was time, we carefully put it into pots to take home ❤️

We picked the Elderflower from our very own garden to make Elderflower cordial! ✨️
We carefully chopped, added, stirred, sieved, all the ingredients, thrn poured our cordial into little bottles to take home and enjoy! 💖

After another successful holiday club last week, Stokenham Explorers are ready to start taking bookings for their Holiday club this Summer 🥳

We have been working with Caroline and her wonderful team at Stokenham Explorers since February, when they began offering breakfast and after school club for our little ones from the age of 2 💖
This has been fantastic and has gone down a storm with families requiring longer hours 💕
We are so lucky to have access to this provision on our site. Georgia who is the Early Years Practitioner there, is also a member of our MGR team. This offers our little adventurers continuity when attending Explorers and a smooth transition when being brought to MGR and then leaving to go to club ✨️
Our little adventurers are always full of stories and crafts when they arrive after breakfast club and are bursting with excitement to go back at the end of the MGR day 🥳

We have been celebrating World bee day 🐝
We looked at a honeycomb, had yummy honey on toast, created our own bee's, a garden for them to hunt for pollen, learnt so much about them and how they are so very important to us 🐝
Can any of our little adventurers remember how many eyes a bee has? 🤔

Everyone is invited to join us for a relaxing afternoon, with tasty treats, meet our dedicated team and find out for yourselves what makes our wonderful little pre school so magical 🥰

We cannot believe its tomorrow 🥳 From 1pm we welcome you all to Merry Go Round for a Teddy bears picnic. Full of treats, games, activities, a raffle with some amazing prizes and a couple of surprises too 🐻

Today we celebrated Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday 🎂
To mark this tremendous occasion, we brought in our favourite wildlife animals and books to share. We researched facts about our animals and using our best Sir David voices, shared these facts with our friends 🦁🦝🐼🐧🦥🦒
We look after the wildlife daily in our MGR garden and know we should look after the world that we live in, through litter picking, recycling and using our strong walking legs as much as possible 🐝🐞🦋
One of our favourite quotes from the amazing man himself is "Cherish the natural world, because you're a part of it and you depend on it" 🌍
