📣 Support available for families as new school year begins

The EA is reminding parents and carers that help and information is available as schools across Northern Ireland prepare to welcome pupils back for the new academic year.

A number of dedicated helplines are in place and further information and details of support are available through the EA website and social media channels. This covers a range of areas, including special educational needs (SEN), school transport, free school meals, uniform grants and admissions.

We are so excited to be hosting our very first STARS Support Group Fun Day, and we can’t wait to welcome all of our families and the local community for a day filled with fun, laughter and unforgettable memories.

📅 Sunday 23rd August
📍 Newbuildings Primary School

💙 1:00pm – 3:00pm is strictly for registered STARS Support Group families only.

This exclusive session has been carefully planned to give our children and young people with additional needs the opportunity to enjoy the rides and activities in a calmer, more relaxed environment. Many of our children find busy crowds and long queues overwhelming, so we kindly ask everyone to respect this dedicated session.

💚 From 3:00pm – 5:00pm, we are delighted to open our gates to the whole community, and everyone is welcome to come along and join the fun!
