🐄🌾 Year 2 Visit to Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse! 🐑🥞

Year 2 had a fantastic day out at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse today! 🌟

The children enjoyed learning all about where our food comes from, how food is grown and produced, and how the animals on the farm are cared for. 🐖🥕🐓

A real highlight of the day was getting hands-on in the kitchen and making their very own drop scones using a Victorian recipe! 🥞👩‍🍳 The children loved discovering how people cooked in the past and how different life was in Victorian times.

What a wonderful day full of fun, discovery and learning beyond the classroom! Well done, Year 2! 💚👏

💛 World Mental Health Day 💛

On Friday 9th October, our children wore yellow in support of World Mental Health Day, helping to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing. 🌼

🔥🏠 Year 2 Great Fire of London Morning! 🏠🔥

Last Friday, our Year 2 children were transported back to 1666 as they were joined by the wonderful Mistress Matilda! 📜🔥

The children had a fantastic time learning all about the events of the Great Fire of London through an exciting and interactive experience. They had the chance to dress up, act out scenes and sing along with the story, bringing their learning to life in a fun and memorable way! 🎭🎶

It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved and developing their understanding of this important part of history. What a fantastic morning! 🔥

✨ Reception Maths Café ✨

Last week, we welcomed our Reception parents and carers for their very first Maths Café! 🧮

It was wonderful to see families joining in with some fun, hands-on maths activities. The children had a fantastic time making their very own counting wands, helping them to practise their counting skills in a fun and creative way. ⭐

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our little mathematicians. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 💛
