Summer Reading Challenge

We were delighted to visit Bawdeswell Primary School this morning to talk about a ❤️ of reading and the very fabulous

It was our first visit to the school and it was such a pleasure to lead the children on a group read of 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt' by the talented Michael Rosen! 🐻 🔍

The Head of School showed us the School Library and we made plans to return in the Autumn for a morning of Autumnal tales and colouring. 🍂

A wonderful start to Wednesday.

The heat may have postponed our sports day but we still managed to fit in lots of different physical activities across sports week. Jamie Knight came and taught us freestyle football tricks; we tried Kin Ball with Olivia from Premier Sports and Juniper class planned and delivered a carousel of sports activities to the rest of the school.

What a fantastic day we had yesterday! Thank you to our major sponsors Folk in a Field Festival, Floranova and Taverham Vets as well as all the local businesses (too many to mention) who supported us by donating raffle prizes.. Thank you to everyone who came to play games, eat ice cream and support the school. The rain didn't stop the fun Our biggest thank you goes to FOBS, the staff, the children and the families of Bawdeswell for making the day such a success!

Our class trip to Norwich Castle with Foulsham Primary School was an exciting journey into the world of the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons. We explored the city to spot signs of old settlements and learned how people lived long ago. It all started with a magical light show. We tried on Norse battle equipment, listened to the legendary story of Beowulf and even made our own dragon, inspired by the tale!
