🌟Year 5 Adventure at Kirk Hallam Academy! 🌟

Last Wednesday, our Year 5 students enjoyed an absolutely fantastic day at Kirk Hallam Academy! They spent the morning taking part in some exciting activities - including getting up close to the animals.

A huge thank you to Kirk Hallam Community Academy for hosting us!

Our new markings have now been laid and they have brightened the playground up lots! We can now look forward to plenty of fun in the sun this term and beyond 🥳

🧁 Cake and bake sale TODAY! 🍰

We are raising funds for a local dance group to perform at Disneyland Paris and have a HUGE range of cakes, cookies and sweet treats to offer.

There will be tables set up in the hall, we are just asking for donations and the best part is that EVERYONE is invited!

Pop in, treat yourself (it's Friday after all 😉), and help make their Disney dream come true!

Every donation makes a huge difference so please do stop by if you can.

If anyone could spare some time to help Friends of Stanley Common sort through their school uniform it would be very much appreciated! You are welcome to take some items away on the day too

We had a fantastic 'Ash Wednesday' service at our local church this week. We loved the butterflies, joining in with our new favourite songs and taking time to reflect as we celebrate the beginning of Lent.

Thank you to all who attended!

Our school has been selected to take part in The Ilkeston 100, a local community initiative founded by dentist Dr Kev Chavda. The project aims to donate 10,000 toothbrushes into local primary schools and support children with practical, age-appropriate oral health education.

A key part of the project is a simple community idea: each new follower on the project’s Instagram page represents one toothbrush being donated. This helps families and the wider community feel part of the impact while real toothbrushes are delivered directly into schools.
