✨ Reception’s Half Term Highlights! ✨
Reception have had another busy and exciting half term.
We enjoyed the stories The Enormous Turnip and Oliver’s Vegetables, which inspired our learning around the topic ‘How does your garden grow?’ 🌱 We linked this to our Harvest learning in the Autumn, understanding how food is grown and the difference between fruits and vegetables. We also explored how to care for plants, learnt about the life cycle of a bean, and planted our own.
We celebrated Easter and loved welcoming our grown-ups for our open day. Take One Book Week was an added bonus this term as part of our World Book Day preparations.
