Please please please could you hold onto donations of uniform for the time being?
I genuinely don’t want to sound ungrateful, it’s just that I am not able to store and process donations at the moment. I’ll be having an operation soon and am hoping I’ll be better after that and that things can perhaps go back to how they were before.
The bin has been removed but donations are now being left in open bags with no protection from the rain 🌧️
So, if the bin isn’t out then please don’t leave them.
We will let you know when we can accept donations again because we couldn’t do this without them!
If people need uniform urgently and we don’t have it then I’ll put a request out and I am sure people will help.
I hope people understand 😊
If you could share this post it would be appreciated!
Thanks again ❤️
❗️ IMPORTANT MESSAGE - PLEASE READ❗️
We had another well attended event today. Thank you for all your donations ❤️
Sadly we are still receiving many items which we cannot use. To give examples, these can be -
❌Trousers where the knees have gone or are worn
❌Tops with stains
❌Yellowed or faded items
❌Scuffed shoes
We have limited storage space to store the clean uniform and we have approx 15 full bin bags of dirty and damaged items to try and dispose of this afternoon. This takes time and we are struggling to find places we can recycle this volume.
We appreciate all your donations but please please could you check the items before donating? We don’t have laundry facilities and so items must be clean and undamaged. If they look worn out or very tired we won’t be able to use them.
We really appreciate you taking the time to check.
Also due to storage limitations we will be accepting donations now only in the month leading up to a collection event. We will post again when we are able to accept donations.
Thank you! ❤️
