Right now, the government is making it easier than ever for employers to hire someone like you — and it's worth knowing your worth.

Here's what a business gets when they take you on:

✅ £1,000 – for starting an apprentice aged 16–18
✅ £2,000 – SME Hiring Incentive for apprentices aged 16–24 (from October 2026)
✅ £3,000 – Youth Jobs Grant for 18–24s on Universal Credit for 6+ months (from June 2026)

And these can be stacked — meaning the right candidate could be worth even more to an employer.

But here's the thing they don't tell you…

If you're under 25, your employer pays no National Insurance on your wages. And for non-levy employers, the DfE covers 100% of your training (and EPA) costs.

That's right — your training is essentially paid for. You're not a cost to them. You're an investment. 📈
