No one talks about the impact the sudden loss of a young dog you thought was “healthy” has 💔
Albus was only 7 years old.
I thought we had many more years together.
I’ve been going through the waves of grief.
I feel angry that our time was cut so short.
I feel guilty that I didn’t notice sooner.
I feel sad that I didn’t get to see him grow old and grey.
But I am also grateful for all the memories, everything he taught me and the adventures we shared.
I know now that seeing your fur baby grow old and grey is a privilege not everyone gets.
