Roar-ing into learning at Bedford St! 🐯🦖

Our little explorers had a busy time diving into the land of dinosaurs and tigers:

Tiger Tuff Tray 🐯
We had great fun and demonstrated some excellent creativity with a tiger-themed tuff tray, that encouraged us to challenge those fine motor skills by picking different utensils to mark make.

Play Dough Dinosaurs 🦖
We then had so much fun crafting our very own pre-historic pals complete with spikes, googly eyes and anything else we could get our hands on!

Messy Play Tray 🦖
We followed it all up with getting hands-on (and a very messy!) in our ultimate dino sensory setup!

Safe to say, imagination ran wild! 🌿🐾

🍋 When life gives you lemons…💛

From careful chopping to the ultimate taste-test, our little ones had the best time running their very own lemonade stand at Mickleover. 💛✨

We had an absolute blast celebrating World Elephant Day at our Bedford St nursery today!

From baking delicious biscuits, decorating them and reading Elmer to getting creative making our own colourful Elmers in art! Add in an ice cream parlour, pom-pom matching, and elephant small-world play, and it was a truly un-forget-able day of fun! 🎨🍦📚✨

Celebrating International Day of Friendship last week! 👯✨

Our Mickleover friends went on a special kindness mission to spread the love to all of their amazing teachers! 🎟️ They handed out stickers and shared the sweet reasons why their teachers are top-notch friends—from keeping them safe and reading their favorite stories, to giving comforting hugs, playing in the garden, and making them belly laugh! 🥹❤️

They also got super crafty making portraits of their friends 🎨 and created handprint wreaths to show all the wonderful ways we can be a good friend. They’re proudly hanging in our windows for everyone to see! 🖐️🌈

We recently went all out at our Derby & Mickleover nurseries, celebrating a childhood favourite - Toy Story!

From creating our own versions of 'Forky' and 'Mr. Potato Head' to pulling off an epic rescue mission to save Buzz and Woody from Spider-Man's evil lair, it’s been total chaos in the best way. We've also dressed up as all our favourite characters, explored new toys, and most importantly we had the sweetest chats about what it means to be a real team, show up for our friends, and take care of our favorite toys.

Super job bringing this magic to life all over again, Team!🤠🧸✨

🎓 Preschool Graduation 2026 🎓

What a wonderful day we had celebrating our amazing preschool graduates! The sun made an appearance ready for our special day making it perfect for this special occasion. There was not a dry eye in sight.

The children had a wonderful day sharing memories with their friends, walking up their very own red carpet to receive their certificates from their Key Worker whilst singing their little hearts out 🎶

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to watch the children shine with confidence and excitement. Sharing photos of themselves as babies and seeing how much they had grown highlighted their enthusiasm to share memories with one other whilst beaming with excitement.

Thank you to all our parents and family members who joined us for the ceremony sharing the proud moments of the children’s educational journey through their unforgettable time at The Cottage 💙♥️💛

We are incredibly proud of everything our graduates have achieved and know they are ready for their next adventure to school.
