Muddy boots, happy faces, and lots of learning! On Monday at Forest School, the children enjoyed exploring the new pond area, working together, and discovering the wonders of the natural world. Outdoor learning encourages teamwork, creativity, and independence every step of the way.

Our Y5 pupils are creating some truly beautiful artwork inspired by the iconic designs of William Morris. Using intricate patterns, natural forms, and thoughtful colour palettes, they are exploring the Arts and Crafts movement while developing their own creative styles. We are so proud of their imagination, focus, and attention to detail — each piece is unique and full of character!

Our pupils have been putting their Design & Technology skills to the test by creating their own Roman-inspired catapults as part of their Romans Learning Adventure!
They explored how catapults were used in Roman times before designing, building, and testing their own models. The project encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and resilience — and there was lots of excitement during the launch tests!

What a fantastic Sports Day! Our pupils showed incredible determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. From exciting races to cheering on classmates, the energy and enthusiasm were amazing to see. A huge well done to all participants and thank you to our staff and families for supporting such a memorable event!

Our Character Education morning focused on the importance of teamwork.
Through fun activities and discussions, pupils explored how communication, cooperation, and encouragement help us achieve more together. It was wonderful to see so many examples of kindness, leadership, and collaboration throughout the morning.

Learning beyond the classroom! Our Forest School sessions give children the chance to explore, create, problem-solve, and connect with nature in a fun and engaging environment. Every visit outdoors helps build confidence, resilience, and curiosity.
