🏆✨ Celebrating our EYC Award Winners! ✨🏆

It’s hard to believe that a whole week has passed since we brought our EYC team together for our Going for Gold – Stronger Than Ever Awards Evening 2026! 💚

A week on, we’re continuing to relive such a special evening, and today we’re celebrating our incredible EYC Award Winners. 🏆

What makes these awards particularly special is that they were voted for by the people who see the difference our teams make every day – their fellow team members and our EYC parents and families.

From colleagues recognising one another’s dedication, teamwork and passion, to parents sharing the impact individuals have had on their children and families, every nomination told its own story. 💚

Our awards give us the opportunity to recognise those moments that can sometimes go unseen – the extra care, the support for a colleague, the relationships built with families, and the commitment to giving our children the very best experiences.

To every one of our winners, nominees and team members – congratulations and thank you for everything you bring to EYC. 🏆✨

✨🏆 And then it was time to welcome our team… 🏆✨

After months of planning, there was nothing better than seeing our EYC teams arrive ready to celebrate together at our Going for Gold – Stronger Than Ever Awards Evening 2026! 💚

From the moment everyone arrived, the celebrations had already begun – with our tuk tuk and rickshaw entrance, plenty of smiles, laughter and, of course, lots of photos! ✨🥂

One of our favourite moments has to be seeing everyone together for our whole EYC team photo. 💚

Bringing together colleagues from across our nurseries and wider EYC team really puts into perspective just how much our community has grown – and the incredible group of people behind everything we do.

Different nurseries. Different roles. One EYC team. 💚

✨🏆 Going for Gold – Stronger Than Ever! 🏆✨

This Saturday, we were so excited to welcome our EYC team to our Annual Awards Evening 2026 at the Derbyshire County Cricket Club. 💚

Our awards evening is about so much more than trophies and celebrations. It’s our opportunity to bring our whole EYC community together and recognise the incredible people who make what we do possible every single day.

Our teams give so much to the children and families within our communities. They create places where children feel safe, valued and supported to explore, learn and grow, and we believe that dedication deserves to be recognised and celebrated. 💚

It’s also a chance to stop and reflect on everything we have achieved together, celebrate individual and team successes, and simply say thank you to the people at the heart of EYC.

This year’s theme, Going for Gold – Stronger Than Ever, celebrated exactly that – the strength of our teams, how far we have come together and everything still ahead of us. ✨

🫧🧽 HERE AT OSMASTON, WE DON’T JUST PLAY… WE LEARN LIFE SKILLS TOO! 🧽🫧

Here at Osmaston Day Nursery, our children are always learning something new — and sometimes that means getting stuck into the jobs we do at home too! 😂💙

Today’s important life skill? Washing the pots! 🫧🍽️🧽

It might look like fun and games, but our children are developing so many valuable skills along the way — independence, coordination, responsibility, teamwork and confidence. 🌟

They absolutely loved getting their hands busy, helping out and proudly showing us their clean pots! 🥰

Because learning doesn’t always happen sitting down with a book… sometimes it happens with a sponge, some bubbles and a sink full of dishes! 😂🫧

💙 Little hands today, valuable life skills for tomorrow! 🌟

👀✨ Through the Eyes of a Preschooler… ✨👀

What does a day at Osmaston Day Nursery look like through the eyes of a preschooler? 🥰

Well, there’s always something exciting happening!

Our preschoolers have been busy working together in our mud kitchen, using their imaginations, sharing ideas and creating their own little adventures. 🪵🍃👩‍🍳

They’ve also been talking about and exploring their emotions, learning how to recognise how they feel, express themselves and understand the feelings of others. 💭❤️

Then it was time to get hands-on and explore our water wall, watching the water flow, making predictions and discovering what happens as they experiment. 💦🔵

And of course, there was plenty of time to get creative, letting their imaginations run wild and proudly showing off their creations! 🎨✨

Every day brings something new — new experiences, new discoveries, new friendships and lots of opportunities to learn through play. 💙

🌟 Because through the eyes of a preschooler, the whole world is one big adventure! 🌟

From the moment they walk through our doors, there are adventures to be had, friends to see, new things to discover and plenty of fun along the way! 🌈🧸🎨

Our nursery is filled with giggles, laughter, curiosity and happy little faces every single day. ❤️

Whether they’re busy exploring, getting messy, creating something amazing, playing with their friends or simply enjoying being themselves — those little smiles say it all! 😍

Have you ever wondered what a day in our Toddler Room looks like through the eyes of a child? 🥰

Well… come and take a little peek! 👀💙

One minute we’re busy building, creating and exploring 🧱🎨, the next we’re running off on an exciting adventure, getting stuck into sensory play or using our imaginations to turn the room into something completely different! 🌈✨

Our toddlers are busy from the moment they arrive — learning through play, making friends, developing new skills and, of course, having lots and lots of fun! 😍

There are messy hands, big smiles, curious minds and plenty of little discoveries happening every day. 🥹💕

Because when you see the world through a child’s eyes, even the simplest things can become an amazing adventure! 🌟

🎂💐 HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM ALL OF US AT OSMASTON DAY NURSERY! 💐🎂

Today we are celebrating one of our wonderful staff members! 🥳💙

There’s nothing quite like a birthday at nursery, especially when you have a room full of little ones ready to make it extra special! 🥰

Our children absolutely love giving our staff their birthday flowers 💐, singing Happy Birthday 🎶 and seeing the huge smiles on their faces!

It’s such a lovely way for our children to show how much they care about the special people who look after them every day. ❤️

Watching their little faces light up as they sing along and proudly hand over the flowers is just the sweetest! 🥹🌸

We hope you have had the most amazing birthday and feel as special and appreciated as you truly are!

Our baby room has been full of smiles, giggles and lots of exciting learning! 🥰👶

Our little explorers absolutely love getting stuck into new experiences — building, exploring, investigating and discovering new things every day! 🧱🔍🌟

From developing those all-important fine motor skills to discovering how things work, our babies are learning through play while having the best time! 💕

Every little interaction, new experience and achievement helps them grow in confidence and curiosity.

There’s nothing better than seeing our babies so happy, engaged and excited to learn! 🌈💫

We are so proud of how amazingly our little ones have settled into nursery life.

Seeing those happy, smiling faces makes our hearts so full! 🥹💛 Our caring team work hard to create a warm, nurturing and reassuring environment where every baby feels safe, loved and ready to explore.

We know that starting nursery can be a big step for both babies and parents, which is why we make every settling-in journey special and tailored to each individual child. 💕✨
