⭐ FODs Promise Raffle ⭐

Last month, we held a very exciting assembly to draw the winners for our Promise Raffle and it's been so wonderful to see some of the prizes being enjoyed!

So far, our winners have been busy:

🍿 Enjoying a special film afternoon with popcorn.

🪑 Relaxing on the best seats in the house (assembly benches)

🎓 Stepping up to be teacher for the afternoon.

A huge thank you to our fantastic PTA for organising this and for all your support. It's lovely to see the children sharing these moments with their friends. More prizes are being used over the next few weeks ✨

Houses of Parliament 💙

Yesterday some of our Year 5 and 6 students traded the classroom for the capital! From navigating the Underground like pros to exploring the historic halls of Westminster, it was an unforgettable experience.

Highlights of the day include

⭐ Standing in Westminster Hall where Henry VIII once hosted dinner parties!

⭐ Witnessing a live debate in the House of Commons to see democracy in action.

⭐ Meeting an MP for an inspiring chat about how laws are made

We are so proud of how brilliantly our students represented the school. Well done everyone 💙

The children have had great fun taking part in move up morning today. The classes have all had lots of exciting activities to try and have worked really hard in their lessons. It was also lovely to welcome our new starters to our school community too.

We had another amazing day yesterday! Newquay Aquarium was a big hit and we all enjoyed handling some of the creatures that you find in a rock pool.
We spent the afternoon on the beach playing and visiting the Tate. In the evening we celebrated a birthday 🎂 and ate fish and chips.
The children (and teachers!) are all feeling rather tired this morning and there will almost definitely be some snoozing on the coach journey home 😴
We can't wait to tell you all about our trip when we get home!

Beach day = the best day! 🏄🍦

We spent 7 hours surfing, playing, eating ice creams, digging in the sand and trying out volleyball. We all devoured our dinner and are now fast asleep in bed 😴

What a day! The children spent the morning at Porthcurno Museum participating in a workshop, exploring the museum and enjoying the view from the 117 steps that they all climbed.

The afternoon was spent at Land's End where the playground and gift shop were a big hit.

We finished our day off with dinner at The Hub and a play on the beach.
