Munch CIC will be making a tasty and nutritious lunch with the children at the library.
Children will get to play with different types of fruit and veg, chopping, cutting, mixing and mashing, while learning about nutrition and sustainability.

They will then get to eat their creations in a sociable environment and take leftovers home for their families

Are you going to be carving pumpkins this weekend? If you are, check out all of the ways you can use the waste from your pumpkin. Not only do they make pumpkin carving more sustainable, but they also add even more fun! 🧙💚

We're blown away! In 8 days we have sold 2/3rds of the tickets to our grotto. The system is a little frustrating so if you are still looking to buy tickets here is a hint to where there was availability this morning.
9th, 16th , 18th & 23rd are fully booked except:
* 16th 11:10 & 11:40 - 18th 11:50 & 1:30
11th to 15th - good availability
19th - best availability between 1050 and 12:50
20/21 - best availability after 11
22nd - best availability between 11:40 and 1:20

We sold 150 tickets yesterday so this will change during the day.

3 Months today!!!
We are delighted to confirm that our lovely Grotto in Waterlooville Library will open on Saturday 9th December and the price will remain at £2 per child!
We hope to have the booking system ready by early/mid October but everyone involved in organising and running the Grotto is a volunteer so they have to fit things like this around their day job. please be patient with us if things overrun

Only 3 weeks to go until the start of the Summer Reading Challenge 2023 in Hampshire Libraries. 🥳

Ready, Set, Read! begins on Saturday 15 July and you can sign up in your local library, or online through our Kids Zone, from this day. The theme this year has a focus on sports with a range of lovely characters, just like Naomi! 🤿

All you need to do is read 6 books over the Summer holidays, receive collector card stickers and a medal and certificate on completion, all from the library.
