What a fantastic day! We wrapped up the year in style with our end-of-year party—complete with brilliant dancing, delicious food, and a very special ice cream treat! 🍦✨

The year 6 shirts have all been signed and they are ready for their very important Leavers' Service tomorrow.

Our Year 3 pupils had an unforgettable and truly historic morning out! As the oldest school in Deal, we were incredibly honoured to be invited by the council to take part in a special Time Capsule Ceremony at the brand-new New Tides complex.
Our children were given the ultimate privilege of: choosing the perfect spot for the capsules to rest. They then buried three of our very own capsules filled with special memories and letters to the futrure.
After the ceremony, the children were treated to an exclusive, behind-the-scenes private tour of the construction site. They learned all about how the new complex is being built and got a first hand look at engineering in action.
Everyone got to keep their very own souvenir hard hats to bring home!
A massive thank you to the council and the team at the New Tides complex for hosting us and giving our pupils something they will remember for years to come. We can't wait for future generations to uncover our capsules one day!

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, mateys! What a spectacular end to the school term! 🎭✨

This week our whole school came together for an unforgettable performance of the classic adventure, Treasure Island! From the youngest to the oldest, everyone was completely captivated by the thrilling highs and lows of the high seas.

There were gasps, there was laughter, and maybe even a few cheers for our favourite pirates as the story unfolded. It was truly magical to watch the children experience the joy of live theatre together, sharing the excitement as one big school family.

A massive thank you to the incredibly talented performers who brought this timeless tale to life, and to our wonderful students for being such a fantastic, enthusiastic audience!

⛏️ What an absolutely FANTASTIC day out for Year 3 at the Kent Mining Museum! ⚒️

Our young historians had an incredible time stepping back in time and diving deep into our local heritage. Here’s a look at what they got up to:

🗣️ Meeting the Experts: The children had the amazing privilege of talking directly to real miners, hearing first-hand stories of what life was like underground.

🎭 Drama Workshop: They brought history to life, using drama to imagine the daily routines, challenges, and teamwork of the mining community.

🦖 Fossil Making: To wrap it all up, they got hands-on and creative making their very own fossils to take home.

We are so incredibly lucky to have this rich, vital piece of history right on our doorstep. A massive thank you to everyone at the museum for making it such an unforgettable learning experience!

What a fantastic day out for our Year 4 adventurers! ⚓️🚶‍♂️

Today, our history books came to life as we went on a Marines History Walk around Deal, led by the brilliant Bill Butler.

The children dived deep into the incredible history of the Royal Marines, discovering just how vital Deal has been to their story over the centuries. From the old barracks to historic town landmarks, everyone saw our beautiful hometown through a completely new lens!

We couldn't be prouder of Year 4—they asked some incredibly thoughtful, sharp questions and soaked up so many new facts about the local history right on our doorstep. 🧠✨

It was an absolutely fascinating, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable trip. A huge thank you to Bill Butler for sharing his amazing knowledge and making history so much fun for us all!

This week, our Year 3 children had a fantastic visit to the RNLI, where they learned all about staying safe in and around the water. 🌊🚤

As a special thank you for their amazing fundraising efforts during our **Mile a Day in May**, the children were each presented with a Mile a Day wristband after raising an incredible **£700**! 👏💙

A huge thank you to the RNLI for such an engaging and informative visit, and to all of our families and supporters who helped make this fundraising achievement possible.
