Eeeekk!! I’m SO excited to finally be filling, photographing and getting ready to launch our Classroom Size Sensory Filler Tubs! 🥹🤎

Honestly, some of my best ideas have come simply from chatting to you all. I’m so lucky to have the loveliest customers, followers and friends who happily listen to my constant questions and help me figure out what you actually need. 😂

And this one has been requested A LOT…

2KG of sensory goodness, packed into one big airtight tub. 🙌

Each tub contains enough sensory filler to fill a large 70cm tuff tray, making them perfect for childminders, nurseries, classrooms, play settings… or just homes where there are more than two little hands diving in!

The best bit? When playtime is over, scoop it back into the airtight tub, pop the lid on and it’s ready for next time. No endless bags, no complicated storage and perfect for those days when you have approximately 2 minutes to pull a setup together. 😂

Big play. Easy storage. Ready to use again and again. 🤎

Now I just need to decide which mixes make the launch… 👀

Another market day means… NEW PRODUCTS! 🤩✨

Creating new products is genuinely one of my favourite parts of Tray & Play. I love seeing an idea turn into a finished tray, although I definitely can’t take all the credit for where the inspiration comes from! 😂 So, as always, a few thank yous are needed…

🐛 A Bug’s Life
This one was inspired by the ridiculous number of bugs I’ve seen in the garden, the house and even my bedroom recently 😂 We then spotted some amazing little bugs while I was out with my little girl and she absolutely loved them. I immediately thought, these NEED to go in a sensory tray! Turns out she wasn’t the only one who loved them because they were a total hit at today’s market! 🐞🐛

🐄 A Day on the Farm
This one is all thanks to a lovely customer called Joanne who visited us at last month’s market. She asked if we had anything with farm animals and, at the time, I didn’t! I told her to leave it with me and I’d get busy… 👀
Fast forward to today, I saw her again and she took one home for her grandson! 🥹 Honestly, seeing an idea go from a customer suggestion to an actual product being taken home is pretty special. 🤍

🏖️ Beach Day
After all the recent Etsy drama and a few listings disappearing, I decided it was the perfect excuse for a little refresh! A big thank you to ChatGPT for suggesting colours, being my sounding board while I played with different themes and ideas until this one came together. 🌊🐚

I see so many amazing posts about the benefits of sensory play, but the thing that surprised me the most wasn’t as a small business owner… it was as a mum.

Watching my husband get completely involved in playing with our daughter was something I never expected. It wasn’t just about pouring rice into a tray, it became time spent laughing, exploring and learning together.

He’s actually the reason I started creating the activity cards that match each play set. One day he looked at me and asked, “So… what do we actually do?”

That one question changed everything.

I wanted Tray & Play to be more than just sensory trays. I wanted to make play-based learning feel easy, giving parents and carers simple ideas to help little ones learn, play and grow together.

Sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to turn 10 minutes of play into memories they’ll never forget. 💛

It’s the year of new things for me, and I needed a sign to go with it for any craft markets. I have NEVER done anything like this before, and as much as I loved making it, I am no sign maker!!

I spent £0 up cycling this from our old living room clock and after its first venture out today at a local event, I am pleased to say it passed the test!
