Parents, if you're stuck for ideas on what to do, talk to your children about their '1%'. This is a big part of our school philosophy - what little thing do you need to do to be a better version of yourself. The children have a learning 1% which they could be working on. They might even like to try a home 1%. My home 1% is to learn to cook. As I still have no pasta I am going to attempt to make my own tomorrow!! I will share the outcome on here - good or bad! I'd love to see some of your 1% tries on here!

I hope Day 2 has gone well. We are all getting used to a new way of working with the Google Classroom. Please just remember, do what you can, when you can. You may get a message saying the work is late but that is due to the assignment settings - please do not worry - we are very aware that many of you are also trying to work from home and you may have more than one child needing the computer at the same time.

Don't forget to 'like' our new page. We will endeavour to keep them both updated for now but wouldn't want you to miss any important information.

Day 1 complete!

It has been an honour today looking after the children of our key workers. It is a difficult decision sending your child to school when you know the advice is to STAY AT HOME unless you have no other option. We are working to ensure that the people that need to help our country get through this. I'd like to say a personal thank you to the staff that were on the rota for today and those for the coming days - all doing our bit for the good of the nation.

For those of you at home social distancing: It has been fantastic to see the engagement of the children on Google Classroom. Don't forget to take breaks - as parents too, we know how hard it can be to get school work done at home so it is not worth arguing about! Have a break and then go back to it! We are looking forward to seeing you all online tomorrow!
