After a few weeks of one to one tuition Henry has now been able to complete his school comprehension homework in the assigned 20 minutes in his lessons.

Tuition can support school homework 🍎 as well as identifying gaps in knowledge from the National Curriculum📚

Well done Henry 🤩✔️🌟

Self-assessment helps pupils to develop higher-order evaluative skills. Pupils have to reflect honestly, so it also builds integrity. 🌟

Self-assessment in itself provides another learning opportunity. As pupils need to know the success criteria well, it offers potentially deeper learning. ✔️ 📚

For this little one the weekly learning of spellings can be really overwhelming. Using a whiteboard and his favourite coloured board markers makes it much more enjoyable! Not only that…

The fear of making a mistake can be so common in little ones, making the whole thing feel seem quite scary! Whiteboards allow us to change and amend words if a little mistake has been made!

The lines on the board also help with letter and word alignment ✔️ ❤️

Great shot from Esther and Finley’s French lesson this week. Finley is working on translation and correcting his own work. 🇫🇷 ✔️

The platform we use for our online lessons is amazing at allowing tutors and students to upload written work and work through together just as a in person session would allow! 🤩

Well done Finley! ⭐️

As exam seasons begins today- we want to wish every single student sitting their GCSE’s, AS and A-levels the 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 of luck!

Remember…

Relax. It is essential to keep yourself stress-free and calm before an exam, as stress only serves to impair memory and paralyze you during the exam. 🧠

Eat Fibre Rich Foods. Watching what you eat is extremely important, especially right before an examination. 🍌

Exercise. 🏃‍♀️

Confirm you have everything. ✅

Be on time. ⏰

Smash it. 💥
