🙌 I’m especially pleased to share that 50% of this year’s cohort are already in employment, with interviews still ongoing for others.

This really shows that internships work, and I’d like to thank everyone involved for their support in making these opportunities possible.

Last call to apply for our Supported Internship Programme with Darlington College and Durham University! ⏰

Looking to get into work? Our Supported Internship Programme is a hands-on opportunity designed to help young people aged 17-25 build confidence, gain real workplace experience and develop the skills employers are looking for.

Learners will:
✅ Spend 4 days a week in real job roles
✅ Attend 1 classroom-based skills day each week
✅ Receive ongoing support from a dedicated job coach
✅ Rotate through 3 different placements across the year

Placement opportunities could include:
💻 IT Support
📣 Marketing and Administration
🍽️ Catering and Hospitality
🛠️ Estates and Facilities
🎭 Event Management
👶 Childcare
…and much more!

The programme is designed to help learners discover their strengths, build independence and take positive steps towards paid employment in a supportive environment. 🙌

Delivered in partnership with Durham University, this programme offers valuable workplace experience to support your transition into employment.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, meet new people, and develop key employability skills - all with the goal of progressing into paid work.
