We are happy to announce our all new Dementia friendly afternoon

Here at Buzz Bingo Darlington we understand the importance if stimulating the mind in order to strenghen the Brain

Following Attending Dementia Got Talent we really want to do something to help
We have decided that every Wednesday afternoon is going to be a Dementia Friendly session

What to except ?

FREE MAIN EVENT

(With a host of extras starting from £1)

FREE HOT DRINK

A hush free afternoon of Bingo

We also want to give the same offer to carers

We understand that there is different levals of Dementia and we want to throw our doors open and invite them all

Exclusive Touchpad prices will be available for the ones that are serious about a big win

What a brilliant day of community collaboration with amazing people living with dementia… raising awareness of what is available in Darlington 💙

A huge thank you to:

– Lorraine, David & Aidan for your valuable insight of what it’s like living with dementia in Darlington & the positive impact it’s had for them

– Jean’s perspective of a wife supporting their husband with dementia & the support they have received as a carer & the importance of peer support

– Formal opening by our Mayor of Darlington

…and a special thanks to Belinda Williams and Kathryn Hardwick our local Dementia Adviser, from the Alzheimer’s Society who brings us all together within Dementia Friendly Darlington 💙
