🥳🥳Dinkies is back tomorrow!🥳🥳

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Dinkies tomorrow morning by celebrating 'Read a Book Day' at Dinkies and saying hello to The Gruffalo and Friends.

We'll be making our own paper dolls, creating personalised stickmen, and reading some of our favourite stories in our very own reading corner.

We looks forward to seeing you tomorrow from 9am. All are welcome to attend, no booking is required!

Meet the Teacher Dates:

Class 1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) - Tuesday 8th September
Class 2 (Year 3 and 4) - Thursday 10th September
Class 3 (Year 5 and 6) - Monday 7th September

These meetings will take place in class and will start at about 3.20, they will last approximately 20 minutes.

A full list of dates that we have already arranged will be sent out tonight.

We have electricity in school and are excited to welcome everyone back this morning. 🙌🏼

Apologies, but with an estimated time of 3pm for the electricity supply to return on we have taken the decision to close school. We apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused today.

We fully expect to be open tomorrow, a text will be sent in the morning to confirm that we are open.

We hope everyone in our school community has had a wonderful summer. All of the staff are excited to hear the children’s stories about where they have been and what they have done when we reopen on Wednesday 2nd September at 8.45am (Breakfast Club will be running from 7.45am).

Join us on Saturday 17th October from 10:00am to 12:00pm for a warm welcome, a cup of coffee, and the opportunity to look around our wonderful school.

We did it!

For the second year running we have been recognised for the our school sports offer by being awarded the Gold School Games Mark for last year!

Thank you to all of the children who have taken part in school sports, to all of the parents who have helped transport children to these events and to all of the staff and helpers who have enabled us to compete in even more events than ever!
