YR7 tended to the Peace Garden this morning for some weeding and watering before the weekend comes once again

The Barking and Dagenham Borough Athletics Championships is one of the most prestigious events in the school sports calendar. With over 15 schools competing and more than 500 students taking part, the track and field events showcased some outstanding performances and achievements.

All Saints entered a strong team of athletes from Years 7 to 10, challenging them to secure a place among the top six schools in the borough. The students rose to the occasion, producing a series of inspirational performances throughout the competition. Many schools records were broken notably Year 9 Gideon’s high jump performance of 1.80 metres and Miguel in Year 8 who ran a blistering 24.78. In addition Joanna Etim in Year 7 won 3 medals, Gold in the high jump, Silver in the 200 m and Bronze in the 4 x 100 relay.

When the final results were announced, their hard work and determination were rewarded with an exceptional 3rd-place finish, a fantastic achievement that reflects the dedication and talent of the entire team. Congratulations to all athletes who represented the school so proudly!
