We have had the privilege of running kids clubs, youth clubs and coffee mornings for adults at all 4 of the homeless hostels in Barking & Dagenham which are run by the council.

In our Store City food bank, we often have people come in to collect food and toiletries. Sometimes we go to hostels/ homes and deliver these items.

DIY SOS
During Love the Borough our DIY SOS team helped some families in our Borough with some DIY jobs, including painting a room, building a bunk bed (with no instruction manual) and clearing a garden.

Today was our “SIGN-UP SUNDAY” where our Church could sign up to get involved with serving at Love the Borough this year.
If you didn’t get a chance to sign up but you’d love to be involved, then you can sign up via our website on our social action page. We hope you can join us as we serve those in our Borough and show them the love of Jesus!

We are privileged to run a fortnightly coffee morning and a fortnightly kids club in 2 of our local homeless hostels (you can see some of the team who help make this happen in the last photo!).
From January 11th we will be launching a new kids club, which will also run fortnightly, in the hostel that we are currently running the coffee morning in. We can’t wait to be a blessing to even more families!

Baby Hampers 👣
When we find out that one of our referees has had a baby, we take a baby hamper round to them. For some this is the only gift they receive for their baby.

HARVEST FESTIVAL!
Yesterday we collected Harvest Festival donations from 3 schools. What a blessing all of these generous donations will be to those in need in our community!
