School Admissions - Application window STILL open.

If your child was born between the 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022. the application window for Reception and Junior places starting in September 2026 is from the 15th November 2025 and closes on the 15th January 2026.

The Community Shop is a friendly village shop run solely by volunteers!
Every sale or share on social media helps to keep them open.

Our Tree 🎄
A huge thank you again to Connetts Farm for the very generous tree donation.
As a school, we would like to extend further gratitude to Friends of Plymtree School FOPS for not only taking the time to decorate the tree, but for all that FOPS does throughout the year.

With the assistance of FOPS, our wonderful children partake in experiences that otherwise may not be possible.
Friends of Plymtree School FOPS are an integral part of our school and we are incredible grateful for their ongoing support.

How do we communicate with our families and carers?
A question most asked on our open days.

We use ClassDojo !
https://www.classdojo.com

Class Dojo is a communication platform that connects teachers, students, and families/carers.
It can be used to build classroom communities and allow sharing of learning moments, progress, and messages through photos, videos, and announcements.

The point system is possibly one of our favourite tools!
Teachers and parents are able to reward positive behaviour with points, these accumulate throughout the year and a prize given to those with the most points!

Parents are able to stay updated and can communicate directly with not only the teachers but also any admin staff in the office.

We are very grateful to be able to use such a fab tool to aid us in our communication.

A very warm welcome to our wonderful Mental Health Ambassadors!

In June 2025 - the applications for the role of Mental Health Ambassador (year 6) at school began flooding in.
After much deliberation, we were delighted to announce that both Henry and Dexter were the chosen candidates.

As part of their role, Henry and Dexter have taken part in a morning at Culmstock Primary School with other Y6 Ambassadors.
A variety of discussions were had, including how our brains work differently in the 'upstairs' and 'downstairs' compartments, 10 a day and how to keep ourselves mentally healthy.

Our Ambassadors will not only be working with children within our school, they will also be leading events throughout the year such as Mental Health Week, Wellbeing Day and World Sleep Day.

Both boys behaved impeccably at Culmstock and we are elated for them to not only be Mental Health Ambassadors, but also be representing our school!

Looking forward to providing more updates as they step into their roles in the coming months.

⭐️ CHRISTINGLE ⭐️

As a school, we are very much looking forward to the Christingle service today!

From creation through to service - thank you to all of those members of staff and beyond, who every year never waver in their efforts 💫

What is Christingle?
A Christingle is a symbolic object used in Christian services, particularly around Christmas, made from an orange with a candle and decorated with a red ribbon, sweets, or fruit.
The Christingle represents Jesus as the light of the world, with the orange symbolizing the world, the red ribbon the blood of Christ, and the sweets or fruit representing God's creations.

We look forward to seeing all of our pupils (and staff) creations later this morning
