The Garwood Foundation Holiday Home We provide low cost holidays for people/children who have a disability or additional needs in our adapted caravan at Pagham in West Sussex.

We also offer a fully adapted holiday caravan for hire, which is located at Church Farm Holiday Park in Pagham, West Sussex. www.haven.com/parks/sussex/church-farm
This is available to hire by any persons with a disability, with their family, friends, partner or carer. We are also able to work with schools, homes, charities and local authorities to offer this facility when arranging or funding short breaks for their clients and families. Our aim is to take the worry out of arranging a suitable holiday and reassurance of expectations by offering a well equipped, well located and fully adapted holiday home at a greatly reduced price than booking a stay direct. It is suitable for all ages with any nature of disability or special needs and offers a break to suit everyone. Located on a newly refurbished 5-star Park with excellent range of facilities, it is situated near to the main complex and offers a high standard of accommodation. Our caravan is in good condition and a superior model which includes a hoist, wet room, shower chair, large bedroom, and central heating and is extra wide to provide maximum space and comfort. It also has a ramp access with a raised patio area and parking to the side. We are able to take bookings from March to October but recommend you book early to avoid disappointment. Our 7 night stays range from £100 to £700 depending on season time and we have some weekend breaks available. YOUNG CARERS TEAM MANAGER
36 hours per week, Salary range is £34,636-£36,605 dependent on experience Generous holiday entitlement – starting at 28 days PLUS bank holidays

We are looking for an adaptable and confident leader to line manage a team of five remote-working staff, who are passionate about supporting young carers and helping them reach the best possible outcomes. You will either be an experienced line manager, looking for a role that can offer you flexibility, a great work-life balance and the opportunity to manage a team who really care about the work that they do. Or you will have some supervisory experience and be looking to develop your management potential. Either way, you must have comprehensive experience working with children and young people in health, social care, education or the charity sector.

CARERS SUPPORT ADVISER
18 hours per week, starting salary for 18 hours is £14,192. This equates to a full time equivalent salary is £28,385 Generous holiday entitlement – starting at 28 days PLUS bank holidays

Our Carers Support Advisers provide information, advice, signposting and advocacy to adult unpaid carers about their rights, wellbeing and benefits. We currently have a vacancy for a Carers Support Advisor to work within South West Surrey, and run a weekly Carers Hub. You must have had experience of working with and advocating for adults and families and have an understanding of carers rights. You will have knowledge of legislation relevant to carers and disabled people.

Are you looking after a relative or friend? It can be tough but there's lots of information and support, just for carers like you.

Come along to one of our FREE Carer Information Fairs, happening in the last week of November. Meet our staff, ask questions, pick up resources, and get help from a wide range of other charities and organisations too.
