🌭☀️ **The perfect way to end another fantastic year at PQA Croydon!** 💙

After an amazing final Academy day, our team came together for a well-earned BBQ and team-building afternoon at Principal Natalie's house. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, laugh, enjoy great food and celebrate everything we've achieved together this year.

Of course, there were a few discoveries along the way... 😂

🤓 We discovered that **Oliver (Film & TV)** has a habit of taking off his (many) glasses whenever the pressure's on... (see the photo! 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣)

💪🏽 And we also learned that **Rebecca** is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to assembling flat-pack furniture. If there's ever a speed-building championship, we know who we're entering!

The afternoon was also bittersweet as we said a heartfelt goodbye to **Athena**. Thank you for everything you've brought to PQA Croydon. You've been a valued part of our academy, and we wish you every success and happiness in your next adventure. You'll always be part of the PQA Croydon family. 💙

One of the most rewarding parts of being at PQA Croydon is watching our students grow year after year, developing not only as performers but as confident, kind and resilient young people.

Our **Bring a Parent to Academy Day** was such a special experience, giving our PQA Croydon families the chance to step into the studio and see exactly what our students enjoy every Saturday.

From acting and dancing to teamwork, games and creative challenges, it was wonderful to see parents and children learning, laughing and supporting one another side by side. ❤️

At PQA Croydon, we don't just teach performing arts – we build confidence, friendships, resilience and lifelong memories. Seeing our families actively taking part reminded us just how important it is to celebrate these moments together.

The PQA Croydon Performance Troupe’s dedication is absolutely inspiring. Balancing exciting preparations for the His Majesty's Theatre with voluntary community performances at local fairs truly reflects the courage, effort, and support that Pauline Quirke Academy, Croydon is all about.

The students' hard work and 90s-themed performances have been a massive hit! This level of commitment builds exactly the kind of resilience and self-belief the academy strives to foster. It is brilliant to see the troupe going the extra mile to showcase their talents across the community while gearing up for the bright lights of the West End. BRAVO to all the students and the dedicated teaching team led by Principal Natalie!

Despite the scorching temperatures on Saturday, these three showed brilliant enthusiasm, and worked incredibly hard throughout the day. 🌞👏

🌟 A huge shoutout to our incredible Performance Troupe, who were absolutely **OUTSTANDING** at the fair! 🎭✨

With plenty of space to truly showcase their routines, they gave it their all—and what a performance it was! Athena and I were so incredibly proud. Every single performer absolutely smashed it and wowed the crowd on the day.

We had so many lovely comments from parents and visitors, especially about our fantastic **'90s-themed performance**, with so many people telling us how much they enjoyed it.

A massive congratulations to these phenomenal young performers. Your hard work, dedication, and talent shone through, and you should all be so proud of yourselves. We can't wait to see what you achieve next! 💙⭐
