🎬Escaping Detention (part 3/5)

These scenes were rehearsed on the day of filming with their teacher .official and "through guided improvisation, allowing students to experiment with character, movement and performance while building confidence and ownership over the story." They were directed by Sel "while remaining flexible, encouraging students to continue contributing ideas and adapting moments as we worked. This collaborative approach created a fun, engaging environment that reflected a real filmmaking process."

🎬Escaping Detention (part 1/5)

Another finished piece by our Screen Acting class in Croydon. Their teacher .official told us "the project was designed to give my students a practical experience of creating a short film through collaboration, improvisation and screen performance. In the weeks leading up to filming, students explored a range of filmmaking styles, including silent film, POV filmmaking and visual storytelling. Each session focused on developing different performance and storytelling techniques, which students later applied to the final project."
