We are delighted to share some wonderful news from Lemon Tree Montessori Nursery School! 🌍📦
Today we received a beautiful Culture Box from Ecole Montessori Deux Mille Feuilles in Switzerland — filled with thoughtful treats and treasures. The children opened it with so much excitement!
Together we explored the box passport and followed its journey:
🇨🇭 Switzerland → 🇲🇹 Malta → 🇬🇧 England
What an adventure this little box has already had!
In a couple of weeks, it will continue travelling to the Czech Republic, where all Culture Boxes from participating schools will be displayed at a special exhibition on 9th October. All schools are warmly invited to participated.
For now, we will take our time to explore the Swiss Culture Box and learn more about our international friends’ country, traditions, and culture. ❤️

Yesterday we opened our doors to host a beautiful Graduation Ceremony for our children moving on to Reception in September. 🧑🎓 👩🎓
It was a joyful celebration filled with proud smiles, excited hearts, and the sweetest moments as our little learners stepped confidently into their next chapter. ❤️
We are so proud of everything they have achieved and cannot wait to see them shine in their big schools. ✨

What a magical End of the Year Party we had this week at Lemon Tree Montessori! ✨
Mr. Magic Bubbles filled our classroom and garden with shimmering bubbles and endless giggles, and the children were absolutely delighted. 🤩
We finished our celebration by treating ourselves to a colourful variety of fresh fruit — a perfect, joyful way to end a wonderful year together.

This week’s Forest School was pure joy — a burst of bright colours, swaying flowers, tall trees, and busy bees humming around us like tiny golden storytellers. 🐝 🌲 🌳 🌼
The children explored with such wonder, crunching through leaves, tracing the rough bark of old trees, smelling blossoms, climbing the rope ladder with proud determination, and soaking in every moment of nature’s beauty. 🌿
Every step felt like discovery, every sound like a little invitation to look closer.
Simple, happy, outdoor magic — the kind that fills hearts, sparks curiosity, and reminds us how beautifully children connect with the natural world. ✨

Why Outdoor Play Matters 🌿
At Lemon Tree Montessori Nursery, we believe some of the most valuable learning happens outdoors.
Our spacious outdoor environment has been carefully designed with age-appropriate equipment that supports every aspect of children’s development. From balance and coordination challenges to imaginative play, every area encourages children to build confidence, develop physical skills, solve problems and explore the world around them.
We also enrich our outdoor curriculum with specialist extracurricular activities, including football and tennis coaching, helping children develop teamwork, coordination and a lifelong love of being active.
Our little gardeners enjoy regular planting and growing activities, giving them hands-on opportunities to care for plants, learn about nature and understand where food comes from. These experiences encourage responsibility, patience and curiosity while fostering a love for the natural world.
Fresh air, movement and exploration are all part of everyday life at Lemon Tree Montessori Nursery—because happy, active children are confident learners. 🌱⚽🎾
