📚 Volunteer for the Summer Reading Challenge 2026! 📚

Croydon Libraries are looking for volunteers aged 13+ to help inspire children (4–11) to read six or more books this summer!

No experience needed! You’ll help sign up participants, talk about books, hand out rewards, and support young readers along the way.

We are currently looking for volunteers with a good knowledge of IT to assist and support customers with computer enquiries. This would involve assisting customers to access and develop their skills using the internet, email, word processing skills, Excel and Powerpoint.

All aboard the Ready Road! 🛻

Is your child aged 3-5 and starting Reception in September? Then join us at Croydon Libraries for our Ready Road programme, helping your child develop the skills they need to be ready for school.

From Tooth Town 🪥to Sing Song Station 🎶enjoy 6 weekly sessions full of stories, songs, and crafts!

Collect stickers each week and earn a special prize for attending all 6 sessions. The programme will be offered at all Croydon libraries.
