Wrights Academy are excited to bring our DJ workshops back to BoxPark Croydon.

This Workshop is brought to you in partnership with the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation. 30 years ago, Stephen was murdered and this month we celebrate his life and continue to remember his name.

Stephen had a passion for music so we are particularly proud to be involved in marking this moment and being able to involve young people in the process.

During this workshop you will work in pairs to explore the functions of the controller, create a playlist and by the end of the session to do an independent mix.

Set Up:
There will be a number of stations set up with serato dj controllers and laptops, where you will learn how to:

Understand how to independently use DJ controllers, beat count, 
Mix different music genres together 
Understand sound levels during mix transitions plus much more.

Ever wanted to become a DJ as a professional or just for fun?

Come down for a 3 hour workshop where you'll learn what it takes to become a fully independent dj and leave after creating your very own indepandent mix. 

We at Wrights Academy are excited to bring our DJ workshops to for a second time!

During this workshop you will learn and explore the functions of the controller, software, creating a playlist and by the end of the session completing an independent mix.

Set Up: There will be a number of stations in the BEATBOX set up with serato dj controllers and laptops, where you will be DJing.

Music genre: Wrights Academy is a multi genre DJ school so you will be able to try out different types of music.
