Good afternoon

Here are some of the activities the children took part in this week.

We also had fun using our new hammock in the top garden, pushing and pulling tyres, and also managed to have an outdoor disco and meditation session!

Many thanks

Hello parents and carers

Rain is forecast next week and therefore, children will need to bring in the following as we do go out in all weathers, even if it is under our canopy for a shorter period of time.

Please check the weather daily and if it is due to rain, please ensure your child has named raincoats/puddle suits, wellies for splashing and extra spare clothes in their named bag for us to change children into.

If the rain is particularly heavy, we still encourage daily movement at the setting by having discos, yoga sessions, indoor obstacle courses, soft play and physical party games which are all adult led.

For any questions, please speak to a member of staff at the door.

Many thanks

Good morning

Head lice and nits are very common in young children and their families. Please see our link on how to spot and treat them.

Find out how to spot head lice, how to get rid of them and how they spread.

Good evening everyone

As the leaves are starting to change colour and we are finding more pinecones and conkers are appearing on our way to Sherwood in the mornings, we will begin to learn a new song at story and circle times!

“Autumn leaves are falling down” has the same tune as “London Bridge is falling Down” so some of our children may already be familiar with its melody.

Why not listen to the song together at home? Please follow the link to hear the song we hope your child will be singing to you at home very soon!

Many thanks

Good afternoon everyone

Here are some of the activities the children took part in this settling week.

We have trialled various activities to find out the children’s interests are to then introduce them into our planning. When children are having fun during play, they get more out of learning!

Many thanks

We had Harrison from Purley Playball come into give a play session trial to some of our children yesterday.

If you are interested in your child taking part in a trial next week, please contact Playball using the email we have sent all parents with their details.

Any children in the photos taken yesterday will be sent to parents directly next week.

Many thanks
