⚽✨ Jump and pass the ball!

The children had lots of fun taking part in our jump and pass the ball game, developing their gross motor skills, coordination and balance as they moved their bodies in different ways.

The activity also encouraged listening and turn-taking skills as the children followed instructions and worked together as a team. 💛🌈

🌍✨ Fizzing Earth experiment!

The children had so much fun exploring reactions by mixing coloured vinegar with bicarbonate of soda to create a fizzing Earth effect! 🌈🫧

This hands-on science activity encouraged curiosity, exploration and early understanding of cause and effect whilst supporting communication skills as the children talked about what they could see happening. A messy but exciting way to learn through play! 🔬💚

🌦️💨 This week our pre-school children have been learning all about the weather! Today’s focus was the wind, and the children enjoyed creating their very own windsocks.

As they cut, stuck and decorated their creations, they were developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creativity. The children loved watching their windsocks move and blow in the wind outdoors! 🍃✨

🌍🐘 World Earth Day – Elmer the Elephant!

The children got creative making their own Elmer the Elephants using recycled plastic bottles. This fun activity helped them learn about the importance of recycling and caring for our planet, while also encouraging creativity and fine motor skills.

A lovely way to turn everyday materials into something special and meaningful! ♻️✨

Our pre-school children used blocks in the garden to build their very own pirate ship, working together to design, create and set sail on imaginative adventures. This activity supported teamwork, problem-solving and gross motor skills — all while bringing their pirate topic to life! 🏝️✨
