The Robert Fitzroy Academy is a primary school that thinks and dreams big for its pupils. Expectations are high for all who make up the RFA community and these standards are reflected in the wonderful physical environment we have developed to enable children to flourish within and beyond the school walls. We are committed to developing learners who are resilient, learners who are focused and learners who are aspirational in their goals; learners well prepared to be successful citizens of the 21st century.

The Robert Fitzroy Academy is a school that dreams big for its pupils. Come and visit to see what makes RFA such an exciting place to learn!
We are a school who believe in human flourishing; championing the children’s whole experience at school. We want our enriching and tailored curriculum to impact the children’s mind, body and soul. The whole child is the whole point of what we do here at RFA.
If you want to experience a taste of what RFA has to offer, come and join us at one of our Stay and Play events for prospective reception families, considering RFA for 2027-2028.
Dates are:
• Wednesday 14th October from 2.00-2.45pm
• Saturday 17th October either 9.30-10.30 or 10.45-11.45
• Wednesday 18th November from 2.00-2.45pm
• Wednesday 2nd December from 2.00-2.45pm

We hope that you can make it! 🙂

The Year 6 netballers had another brilliant performance last week against South Norwood. Taking a larger team allowed the girls to try out different positions and partnerships - those in defence deserve a special shout out, but everyone worked hard together throughout. We are very much looking forward to more fixtures and more positive play next term. Well done to all!

Please bring some cash to your child’s performances over the next few weeks to take advantage of our afternoon hot drinks stall, raising money for RFA’s OPAL play provision! Hot chocolates served for children (£1), with drinks for adults too (£1.50) and even a few sweet treats (varied prices). Options for dietary requirements also available. The stall will be set up outside Adelie class after the EYFS performances, and then outside the dinner hall entrance (near the lunchbox trolleys) for KS1 and KS2 performances. Please do visit and help us to provide even more varied opportunities for play during our OPAL lunchtimes.
