Piano Lessons with Susanna

These characters are from my children's book series, The Piano Forest, which teaches note reading through storytelling and colour. Here we can see the notes of the C major scale as they are taught in the first book - Cave, Dragon, Egg, Fox, Goblin, Acorn, and Bluebird!

Piano Growcase April 2026! Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made it such a lovely event!

ANNOUNCEMENT!! The Piano Grow-case will be happening on the 18th April at Clyde Hall! It will be a chance for all my students to showcase their growth and progress by playing a piece they learnt a few (or more!) years ago, followed by a current piece they are learning.

Some people have work-life balance. I instead decided to spend a significant portion of my free time crocheting all the characters from my upcoming children's book The Piano Forest and turn it into a visual aid! Hopefully these little guys will help the kiddos remember where all their notes are and won't be too distracting in lessons...!
