"At 5 months pregnant I started suffering from very bad pelvic girdle pain, leaving me in agony whether I was walking, sitting or even lying in bed. I’ve seen osteos in the past for sports-related injuries but wanted to find someone with more specific experience to this; I found Sabrina recommended on a pregnancy website and was very happy to learn she was based nearby. She seemed to have really in-depth knowledge about pregnancy related pains and was able to simply explain what was causing my issues and why. After the first treatment my pain reduced significantly and it improved further over the next couple of days. I had a follow up appointment a week later, after which the pain was completely gone. Sabrina also kindly sent me some detailed information about exercises and stretches to do at home which have definitely helped keep things under control. I will continue to have regular appointments, just to keep my body in-check, but after my initial panic that I would be in pain for the rest of my pregnancy, it’s now such a relief knowing how quickly Sabrina can resolve any problems I have. I would absolutely recommend Sabrina to anyone needing an osteo, and specifically anyone with any pregnancy related pelvic pains".

Sabrina treats a wide variety of patients from babies to adults (sports people, office workers, elderly...) using a combination of structural, cranial and visceral techniques as well as advices on exercises.
Sabrina graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Master degree in Osteopathy in 2011. Since graduating as an osteopath, Sabrina has continued to add to her professional qualifications with further courses and development in the UK and in France.
Over the years, Sabrina developed a particular interest in the osteopathic management for children and pre/postnatal women. She believes it is important to treat both mother and baby during pregnancy and beyond.
This has led her to complete further post-graduate trainings in this field.
In 2013, she completed a two years postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy with The Foundation of Paediatric Osteopathy, at the renowned Osteopathic Center for Children, in London.
Over the years, Sabrina has gained extensive experience treating newborns to teenagers and worked in neonatal intensive care wards treating premature babies.
She receives referrals from tongue-tie practitioners and IBCLC lactation consultants in the area for feeding issues and others common issues in babies.
She recently completed a Postgraduate Training in Paediatric Osteopathy in France (“Osteo Bébé” by the osteopaths Dany Heintz-Blondy and Eric Simon), focusing on holistic approach of babies and children.
As part of her ongoing journey with women’s health, Sabrina is currently completing a pregnancy and postnatal training with Elisa Boillot, a French midwife and osteopath who
has worked extensively in the field of Women’s Health for many years.
Sabrina is looking forward to bring her new knowledge and skills to help new mums during and after pregnancy.
Sabrina also has a strong interest in sport and sport injuries and is a qualified and experienced sport massage therapist.
Sabrina is registered with the General Osteopathic Council. She is a Member of the Institute of Osteopathy (former British Osteopathic Association) and an Alumni Member of the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
She is recognised by all major health insurance companies.

👏A lovely review for Sabrina, Osteopath from a local Mum suffering from Pelvic Girdle Pain
Having suffered from pelvic girdle pain during my pregnancy, I expected the pain to go straight after birth. I, unfortunately, suffered terribly for 6months postpartum. I visited the GP 4 times and spoke to the health visitors who said its all part of the healing process. I could not get out of bed to feed my baby and in too much pain to fall asleep even though I was so exhausted. I only went out once in the 6 months, as I was in pain to walk. I was getting depressed.
My first session with Sabrina was like a light had been turned on. She listened carefully to my story and then said with such confidence "You shouldn't be in pain, your body is made to have babies. You will be pain-free with treatment". I could not believe what she said, I wanted to cry with relief, but was also apprehensive as my GP could offer nothing but painkillers. Sabrina then began treatment and my muscles were so tight but I could literally feel the tension just melt away.
Forward onto three days after my first session I called my husband to watch me run up the stairs I had crawled up for the past 7 months.
Each session since has been a step forward to my independence and me feeling like a mother who is able to look after her kids; which has also improved my mental well being.
Even as a Biologist, I am amazed after each session how such therapy has a massive impact.
Sabrina, as a professional is very friendly, knowledgeable and displays a genuine interest in her patients. You never feel rushed or uncomfortable; she is happy to answer any questions you may have.
Abrira, Mum and Biologist.
Sabrina also runs the Breastfeeding Drop-in clinic along with Katherine Fisher, Tongue Tie and Lactation Consultant at our Cheyne Walk Clinic.

Pregnancy and labour can take its toll on your body. Your posture has gradually adapted for several months to pregnancy, and, suddenly it must be readapted to the absence of the baby in the womb.
Pregnancy hormones also continue to affect your muscles and ligaments for around 6 months after birth, making them laxer, which places pressure and increased risks of injury on the joints, ligaments and discs of the lower back and other parts of your body.
Finally, new activities such as feeding and carrying your baby will put additional strain on your body. Follow Sabrina's registered Osteopath'sadvice on how Osteopath can support you after pregnancy. (Click on the link below to read full article)
