GCSE Maths and English exams over and out! π«‘π
Over the past weeks, our students have sat almost 4,000 exam papers across John Ruskin College and East Surrey College! We are so proud of how hard working and dedicated all our students have been so a huge well done to everyone who sat their exams!
A massive thank you also goes to all the staff who went above and beyond to ensure exams ran smoothly and that our students had the best possible experience throughout the exam period. π

JRC take on the cypher challenge! πΎ
The class was split into pairs, with each team given just one hour to complete the challenge. Their task was to locate six hidden cipher cards placed around the campus, using a series of clues to guide them. Once all the cards had been found, teams returned to the classroom to work together to decode the hidden message.

OSC students and staff were recently recognised for their outstanding achievements at the Committee of South London Principals Best Student and Teacher Awards, held at the House of Lords βοΈπ«
GCSE English student Abel was recognised for his exceptional commitment to his studies, demonstrated through his attendance, strong work ethic and positivity. English Tutor, Inga Clarke-Schirru, was recognised for her teaching practice and dedication to learner success.

Our The King's Trust cohort have been busy at their work placements π
From The Grange in Wallington to Deen City Farm and even Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon, the group jumped straight into work life and have taken new responsibilities in their stride. One student, Abibat, was even offered a part-time job after just two hours of working at Stephanie's SE21, a cafe based in Dulwich.
