Nine singers from the Trinity Boys Choir have been performing this summer at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera in a new production of Puccini’s Tosca.

They joined the children’s chorus, appearing in Act One as schoolboys and church choristers in a 1940s Italy setting. The boys combined singing and acting while performing alongside professional opera singers, after months of rehearsals and demanding schedules.

Their contribution has been well received, with critics praising the quality of the youth chorus.

The run of Tosca ends 30 August, with limited tickets left.

Students achieve third place in RSC Chemistry Challenge 10/06/2026

🧪🏆 Congratulations to our Fourth Year Chemistry Challenge team on an outstanding 3rd-place finish in the regional final of the Royal Society of Chemistry Chemistry Challenge!

After scoring over 80% in the opening round, Seb, Jack, Sze Hang and Sam earned their place among just eight teams from across the South East invited to compete at Kingston University.

The competition tested scientific knowledge, problem-solving, teamwork and practical laboratory skills, and our students rose brilliantly to the challenge. Their achievement marks Trinity’s strongest performance in the competition for several years and the first time in five years that a Trinity team has progressed beyond the initial round.

👏 We are incredibly proud of their teamwork, resilience and enthusiasm for Chemistry.

⛵️🌊 Wind, waves and plenty of laughs!

During May half-term, 30 students from First to Third Year enjoyed an unforgettable week in Poole, Dorset, packed with sailing, sunshine and adventure.

From competing in the inaugural Trinity Rockley Regatta and paddleboarding on giant stand-up paddleboards, to Ultimate Frisbee, pizza nights and even a few unexpected rescue missions, the trip was full of memorable moments both on and off the water.

A huge thank you to the Rockley staff for making the week so special. We’re proud of the teamwork, resilience and enthusiasm shown by all our students throughout the trip. ☀️👏

Today is .

For our Sixth Form students, this is a time of exciting decisions, whether that's university, an apprenticeship, studying overseas or something completely different.

One of the things we're proudest of at Trinity is the support students receive as they work out what comes next.

As one student says in this video: "You've got the most fantastic Futures team and they help you so much, be it personal statement, deciding what unis you want to apply for, what subjects."

That support comes from all corners of the school, from tutors and teachers to our Futures team and alumni network.

With Higher Education Week taking place next week, our Lower Sixth students are looking forward to hearing from universities, alumni and industry professionals as they begin exploring the many opportunities available beyond Trinity.

🎓 Happy Higher Education Day.

Well done to Fourth Year student Oscar, a member of the England U16 hockey squad, who recently had the opportunity to play against the GBS Women’s team. 🏑

It was a great experience, and Oscar even found himself face-to-face with former Trinity sports coach Miss Curtis, who now represents both England and Great Britain at international level.

A fantastic achievement and a memorable occasion for one of our rising hockey stars! 👏
