✨️ Our Best A Level Results in the School's History✨️

Congratulations to our Class of 2026, who have delivered the school’s best-ever A Level results, with over 62% of all grades awarded at A*/A.

The A* grade specifically recognises the most able pupils at the very highest level of academic achievement, so the school is enormously proud that nearly a quarter of this year’s grades are at this highly aspirational level of A*.

Additionally, 92% of grades were at A*-B grades, including exceptional performances across a wide range of subjects. This statistic represents an 8% uplift on last year’s already impressive results.

We are thrilled that eight subjects recorded straight A*/A grades for all pupils. This clearly represents the school's commitment to encouraging and supporting pupils to aim high and believe in their potential.

As the 2025/26 academic year comes to a close, we’d like to thank our pupils, families, alumnae, and visitors for being part of another memorable year at Croydon High. Our Year 3 artists have been exploring the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and have made these wearable sculptures to represent Article 31 — the right to rest and play. They've shown lots of problem-solving skills and creativity.

✨ Junior School Arts Week Highlights ✨

Throughout the week, we celebrated creativity, imagination and expression while deepening our understanding of the Rights of the Child. Through art, literature, discussion and play, pupils explored how creativity can help us understand, celebrate and advocate for the rights that help every child thrive. The week provided opportunities for the girls to develop their artistic skills while reflecting on the importance of having their voices heard, expressing their identities and ensuring that all children are able to flourish.

We are so proud of our pupils for using their creativity to express themselves, stand up for what matters and celebrate the power of every child’s voice. 💫

Year 7 Breakfast with the Senior Prefects 🥐 🍵

Our Senior Prefects recently hosted a breakfast gathering with our Year 7 pupils, creating a wonderful opportunity for connection, conversation, and shared experiences across year groups. The event was filled with lively discussion as pupils came together in the Recital Room.

A particular highlight of the morning was the curiosity shown by our Year 7 pupils towards life in Sixth Form. They were eager to learn about the responsibilities that come with leadership roles, as well as how Senior Prefects balance their commitments with academic demands. The Prefects responded thoughtfully, offering practical strategies for time management and emphasising the importance of organisation, resilience, and finding time to recharge.

For the Senior Prefects, the event was equally rewarding. It gave them a chance to look back on their own time in Year 7, sharing anecdotes and reflecting on how far they have come. This sense of perspective not only strengthened their role as leaders but also reinforced the supportive environment that helps every pupil grow and succeed.
