Royal Russell School (UK) hosts an annual four-day International Model United Nations Conference each October. Royal Russell School was the first British school to set up an annual MUN conference and has been hosting their conference for over 30 years. THIMUN 2020 - RRS STUDETS - Royal Russell MUN 06/02/2020

Our students have now returned from a very successful trip to the 52nd annual Hague Model United Nations’ conference. Over 3,000 students from around the world had gathered in The Hague for the conference including just four schools from the UK. Our students, representing Georgia, all enjoyed the week and did really well. Everyone set themselves different targets at the beginning of the week and it was great to see them reach them. Royal Russell Delegates at Benenden MUN 2019 - Royal Russell MUN 11/12/2019

15 Royal Russell School students attended BMUN XII. This year we represented Sudan, Iraq and China with an excellent mix of experienced and less experienced delegates who all gave position statements in their committees, and managed to either take the floor or ask a point of information. Perhaps our busiest delegate was Sam who managed to get his resolution debated in both his committee and the plenary, getting it passed in both forums. [ 78 more words ]

Royal Russell Delegates at CHS MUN Conference - Royal Russell MUN 19/11/2019

On Saturday we took eleven students to Croydon High School’s MUN Conference. We had a mix of experienced delegates and relative newcomers, including two who were attending their first conference. Without exception, all got really involved and spoke well in their committees, including Charlotte and Arjun who impressed immensely in their first ever conference, showing that the future of MUN in Royal Russell is looking strong.
