🌿🐦 A Wonderful Nature Adventure at Whitgift School! 🦩🍃
Our children had an amazing time exploring the beautiful grounds at Whitgift School, where every step brought a new discovery!
They loved spotting a variety of wildlife, including majestic peacocks, geese, fluffy ducklings, and elegant flamingos. 🦩
Everyone had lots of fun pretending to stand like flamingos, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the day. 😃
As little explorers, the children collected and examined pine cones, feathers, stones, sticks, delicate white butterflies, fascinating spider webs, and even discovered a beautiful waterfall. These hands-on experiences encouraged them to ask questions, investigate the natural world, and learn through play. 🦋
Outdoor learning provides endless opportunities to build curiosity, confidence, communication, and new vocabulary, and this trip certainly did just that.
We are so proud of how engaged and enthusiastic all of the children were throughout the day.

🎓💚 Fantastic Frogs Graduation 2026 💚🎓
What a truly special day celebrating the graduation of our amazing Fantastic Frogs! 🐸✨
We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of our preschoolers. Watching them grow in confidence, make friendships, develop new skills and prepare for their next adventure has been a privilege. 🤩
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for joining us and helping make the day so memorable and thank you to our brilliant team for bringing it all together ❤️

🎓✨ Getting Ready for School! ✨🎓
At Speckle’s Day Nursery, we are busy helping our children develop the skills they need for a confident transition to school. 🏫
Each day, the children take part in writing activities to build their early literacy skills, practise holding pencils correctly, and gain confidence in expressing their ideas on paper.
We also encourage independence through daily routines such as signing themselves in, managing their belongings, making choices, and completing simple tasks on their own.
These important life skills help prepare them for the exciting journey ahead. ❤️

⭐️ Our Zoo Lab Visit ⭐️
We had a fantastic time at Speckles during our Zoo Lab visit with an exciting African Safari theme! 🦒🐍🕷️
The children loved meeting all the amazing animals including Dolly the Tarantula, George the Python Snake, Molly the Millipede with 200 legs, Chelly the African Giant Snail, and Peppa & Salt the Gerbils. 🐹
Everyone had the chance to learn fun facts, explore different creatures, and even get hands-on with some of the animals! ❤️
One of our directors and some of our parents also joined in the fun and enjoyed the experience with the children. 🫂
It was wonderful seeing everyone so engaged, curious, and excited throughout the visit. 🔍
A huge thank you to Zoo Lab for bringing this unforgettable adventure to Speckles! 🌿🐾✨
