✨ Introducing Our New Golden Room! ✨

I’m so excited to share something very special with you all! I have converted my spare room into “The Golden Room” — a beautiful learning space designed especially for the children at Little Pippins. 💛

This space has been carefully created to support children’s development in a warm, engaging, and inspiring environment where little minds can truly shine.

Inside the Golden Room you’ll find areas focused on:

📚 Literacy & Maths – encouraging early reading, writing, and number skills.
🔬 Science & Discovery – exploring curiosity and learning about the world around us.
🎨 Creative Arts – inspiring imagination, creativity, and self-expression.
💛 Emotional Well-being – helping children understand their feelings and build confidence.

Every corner has been thoughtfully set up to make learning fun, interactive, and meaningful. Converting my spare room into this dedicated learning environment has been such a rewarding project, and I can’t wait for the children to enjoy exploring it every day.

🌟 One Full-Time Daytime Space Available 🌟

I currently have one full-time daytime space available for a funded child in a warm, caring home-from-home setting with an Ofsted registered childminder.

Children in my setting enjoy a variety of fun, engaging activities that support their learning and development every day. These include:
🎨 Creative arts and crafts
📚 Story time and early literacy activities
🌿 Outdoor play, nature walks and park visits
🧩 Puzzles, building and problem-solving games
🎶 Music, singing and movement
🍎 Healthy meals and snacks together

Through play and exploration, children are supported to reach important Early Years goals, including:

📚✨ World Book Week Fun in Our setting ! ✨📚

This week we celebrated World Book Week by becoming authors and illustrators! The children created their very own books, designing characters, drawing colourful illustrations, and writing short stories using exciting new adjectives to describe their ideas.

From brave heroes to magical creatures, their imaginations truly came to life on every page!

Activities like this bring so many benefits for children:
🌟 Encourages creativity and imagination
✏️ Builds confidence in writing and storytelling
📖 Expands vocabulary through learning new adjectives
🎨 Develops fine motor skills through drawing and illustrating
🗣️ Supports communication and language development

We are so proud of the effort and enthusiasm the children showed while sharing their wonderful stories. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the joy of reading and storytelling! 📚

Some activities the children have participated in over the summer holidays 🌈🎉 We have been to foal farm , Horniman museum, park trips ,swimming, butterfly garden and many more fun activities have been provided . The children absolutely loved the butterfly garden 🦋✅ Not only did they enjoy the days out but they also learned many new facts about animals , wildlife etc .

The children have set 5 goals for themselves to achieve by the end of this year ✅ With lots of commitment and determination a few of them have already managed to achieve a few of these already 🤩 We have an exciting term ahead with lots of fun activities to do and lots of help to achieve these goals ✅

Some of the goals the children have chose :
To progress in the next stage of their swimming club
To learn how to ride a bike
To learn new words in polish
To learn how to tie their laces

Let’s achieve these goals ✅

Little pippins has finished for the summer term✅🌈We celebrated the end of the term with a fun party where the children all received special awards and participated in lots of fun activities . Four years ago little pippins was founded and I am forever expanding and welcoming new faces . Thank you to all parents for bringing your children to me and allowing your children to take part in all of the amazing activities I provide for them 💕 Have a lovely summer term and I will see you all in September .
