This weekend we celebrated Sophia’s 5th birthday!!

We are super proud of our University Graduate Amelia🎓

Amelia joined us for her placement 2 years ago and the children instantly loved her. With her calm and caring approach she would often be found with children on her lap listening to a story. Amelia fully embraced our Forest School approach, choosing to write her dissertation on the subject!

Congratulations Amelia, we are proud to have you with us!

We love clay!

Clay is awesome! Easily shaped to our needs, helps with children’s comfortability toward textures, can be stuck to many surfaces, is brilliant for creativity and.. completely natural.

Along with children being able to collect natural resources to add to their clay art, we brought along multiple items for them to manipulate the clay so they could, flatten, roll, cut out and more!

Camp Day 1 ✅

Safety always comes first and our campers were fantastic listeners at base camp.

We used vegetable peelers to peel sticks, leapt over tree stumps, saw all kinds of creepy crawlies and climbed to the best of our abilities! 🌳🐌🪢
